The
implantable microchip is just 12mm long by 2mm in diameter
(about the size of a grain of rice) and carries a unique
15 digit alpha numeric character.
It
is made out of inert materials to avoid rejection by
the body, has no power source and has an anti-migration
collar to avoid movement once professionally implanted.
Please ask the technician to see the microchip before
it is implanted.
Its
Amazing.......................
All
the manufacturing materials used ensure that the
chip is non-allergenic,
totally inert and of medical grade. The chip responds
to a low voltage electronic signal from the reader and
transmits its unique code, which is then displayed on
the reader. When the reader has been withdrawn from
the area the chip returns to its inactive state.
The Pet ID microchips are the latest ISO standard FDXB
format and can be read using
a
low frequency radio signal
by
any ISO FDXA/B scanner world-wide. The implantable transponder
(microchip), has a unique number programmed into its
memory. |
